The Belles of BGT are Innova Irish Dance Company… VIDEO

Innova Irish Dance Company is an Irish dance group that made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent Series 8 in 2008. They are indigenous to Northern Ireland’s north coast. When asked how long they’d been dancing together, the group leader said they’d been doing it since they were three or four years old, or something like that. When asked who brought the group together, the group’s leader identified himself as well as two other members named Kira and Emma.

When asked if anyone in the group resembled “Michael Flatley,” the group leader replied, “Well, the younger version.” They performed a dance number to a medley of songs at their audition, including “Party Rock Anthem,” “Rock This Party,” “Timber,” and “Get Up (Rattle).” They went on to the next round before reaching the semi-finals.

They performed a dance routine to a medley of “I Love It,” “Tsunami (Jump),” “Tell Me Ma,” and “#SELFIE” in the semi-finals. They went to the judges’ table and received two votes from Amanda and Alyosha, while Simon and David voted for their opponent, Lettice Rowbotham, resulting in a tie. Following this deadlock, it was revealed that they had finished third in the public vote and thus would not advance further in the competition.
