You Won’t Believe What This 12-Year-Old Did on Stage Watch the full video in the comment section

A tiny child, barely higher than the microphone stand, went onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage and opened his lips to sing. What emerged was not just a voice, but a surge of passion that could fill a symphony hall. His performance of Julie London’s “Cry Me A River” was not only excellent but also eerie. The judges were stunned, their mouths almost touching the floor. Even Simon, eyes wide and startled, turned and said, “This boy is only TWELVE years old!” At that moment, the entire room exploded.

Nobody expected a child to hold that amount of pain and spirit. But there he was: twelve, brave, and memorable. This season, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ saw the birth of a new star as Ellis Chick hit the stage for the second time in the show’s semi-finals.

Ellis donned a well-made tuxedo with bedazzled lapels and jacket cuffs for his second performance. His gelled, spiky hair and wide smile emanated confidence as he stepped on stage.

Ellis picked Julie London’s song, “Cry Me a River,” as his piece for the evening. Ellis’s massive voice burst into the microphone from the start, and he sang with conviction throughout the performance.

At the end of his performance, all four judges praised Ellis for his outstanding interpretation. They commended his theatrical presence and reminded him that his purpose was to entertain.

Alesha Dixon had the difficult duty of judging Ellis first. Though she praised his confidence and strong voice, she also criticized his lack of range because he began the song at such a high level and concluded in about the same spot.

However, Amanda Holden agreed with Dixon. Both women believe Ellis can improve his delivery and develop a song to a crescendo in the future.

Surprisingly, Simon Cowell rushed to Ellis’ defense, reminding everyone that he is just twelve years old, meaning that technique will develop with practice and experience.

Finishing the reaction, comedian David Walliams, who Cowell suggested looked like Ellis, offered more of the same. He believes in Ellis and knows he will succeed as an entertainer. Everyone clapped, and Ellis walked on to pursue his singing goals.
