Simon Wasn’t Ready for a Voice Like This at 77! Watch the most incredible performance in the comment section ⬇️

The artists on “Britain’s Got Talent” come in a wide variety of ages. From kids to seniors, BGT has a lot of surprising skills. Mel Day is yet another amazing illustration. He is a 77-year-old singer who is trying to perform the iconic Wilson Pickett song “Land of 1,000 Dances.”

Mel has an amazing style. He was dressed in a purple shirt and vest and a burgundy suit. He starts to move and dance as soon as the song starts. Immediately, the crowd gets up and starts dancing.

Backstage, BGT hosts Ant and Dec are enjoying themselves by mimicking the song’s horn hits. Mel has a strong, deep voice and is a natural performer who seems comfortable on stage.

“When you have a soul like that, it will never leave you,” Judge Alesha Dixon says to Mel. “I’ve got a lot more to give, darling,” Mel responds. Judge David Walliams announces, “I want to have your baby.” The crowd erupts in laughter.

“Sorry, you don’t just go on this stage at 77 and sing like that,” Simon Cowell says, growing more solemn. When you were younger, you must have wanted to be a singer. Mel tells him that he has experienced multiple disappointments.

“Well, you know what, time is key,” Simon says, and the judges start casting their votes. Everybody votes “yes,” and Simon’s job is to add some drama.

“I think we have about 4,000 people here, so I’m going to make it 4,000 and four yeses,” he says to Mel. Everyone applauds, and Mel is beaming with happiness. All his life, he had been anticipating this moment.
