On the latest episode of “America’s Got Talent,” 16-year-old Camille K took the stage with a cover of Finneas’ “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night.” Expressing her desire to showcase her talent and impress the audience, Camille began her performance with the ballad. However, after just a minute, Simon Cowell interrupted, acknowledging her nice voice but suggesting she needed something more unique to stand out.
In response, Camille revealed that she had written her own song titled “Still in Love,” inspired by a personal heartbreak. As she performed the original song, both Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum were moved to give her a standing ovation, bringing tears to Camille’s eyes.
Impressed by her authenticity and talent, the judges expressed their admiration. Cowell emphasized the importance of finding a defining song as an artist, while Vergara praised Camille’s voice as spectacular. With three “Yeses” from the judges (Howie Mandel was absent), Camille secured her spot in the next round of the competition.
