This soundtrack has held the #1 spot in the UK’s soundtrack rankings for the past 50 years or thereabouts.
In Rebecca Ferguson’s portrayal of Jenny Lind, she sings.
However, the song’s vocals were performed by the even better vocalist Loren Allred.
But Allred never received recognition or credit for the song.
Loren Allred chose to take part in Britain’s Got Talent in order to introduce herself to the audience and the four judges as well as to discuss her motivations for performing on stage.
Simon Cowell was speechless by what he heard and saw.
When the crowd discovered that the woman performing on stage was the same woman they had heard singing in the movie, they were all left in awe.
